Meredith is the Power Delivery Engagement Project Manager at Alabama Power Company, responsible for developing and delivering strategic communication to provide consistent messaging, drive company initiatives, create innovative strategy adoption and increase employee engagement. Since beginning her career at Alabama Power Company in 2008, Meredith has held positions across multiple departments including Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, and Power Delivery.
Along with completing the second Leadership Trussville class, Meredith has participated in Alabama Power’s Leadership Development Program, Transforming Success – Women’s Leadership Development Program, and Power Delivery Mentoring Program. She has held various leadership positions in several initiatives that align with her passion of developing future engineers, including Program Manager for the Women in Power Delivery program, Advisor for the iCAN Girls in Engineering Trussville team and LEAP (Lineman, Apprentice, and Engineer Programs) mentor for Hewitt Trussville High School.
Meredith graduated from The University of Alabama with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering in 2008 and obtained a Masters of Business Administration from UAB in 2012. Meredith and her husband, Ross, have lived in Trussville for almost 15 years and have two daughters, Caroline and Emily. They are active members of First Baptist Church Trussville where Meredith sings in the Choir and Praise Team and coordinates Children’s Worship Choirs.
