Jason Daniel serves as the Vice President for the University of Alabama Health Services Foundation, the physician practice plan for UAB Medicine. He has held various leadership positions at UAB over the past 28 years, including five years as the Executive Administrator in the Department of Internal Medicine. He has served on multiple national-level healthcare administration organizations, currently serving on the Association of American Medical Colleges’ Groups on Business Affairs and Group on Faculty Practice. Jason strongly believes in investing in the future, serving as a mentor to aspiring leaders.
A graduate of both Jacksonville State University and UAB, Jason holds an undergraduate degree in Finance as well as a Master of Business Administration. In addition to Leadership Trussville, Jason serves on the Trussville City Schools Board of Education, Ronald McDonald House of Alabama Board of Directors, and Legacy Community Federal Credit Union Supervisory Committee.
Jason and his wife Michelle have lived in Trussville for the past 21 years and are active members of First Baptist Trussville. Jason and Michelle have two children, a son who is a graduate of Hewitt Trussville High School and a daughter currently at HTHS. In his spare time, Jason enjoys golf and fishing.
