Jason Daniel serves as the Vice President for the University of Alabama Health Services Foundation, the physician practice plan for UAB Medicine as well as Associate Dean for Clinical Administration for the UAB Heersink School of Medicine. He has held various leadership positions at UAB over the past 24 years, including five years as the Executive Administrator in the Department of Internal Medicine. He has served on multiple national-level healthcare administration organizations, currently serving on the Association of American Medical Colleges’ Groups on Business Affairs and Faculty Practice. Jason strongly believes in investing in the future, serving as a mentor to aspiring leaders.

A graduate of both Jacksonville State University and UAB, Jason holds an undergraduate degree in Finance as well as a Master of Business Administration. Other service activities include serving as Secretary of Legacy Community Federal Credit Union’s Supervisory Committee, assistant leader of Hewitt Trussville Fishing Team, member and volunteer of Cahaba Elementary PTO, and various activities at FBC Trussville.

Jason and his wife Michelle have lived in Trussville for the past 17 years and are active members of First Baptist Trussville. With two children in Trussville City Schools, he understands the importance of a strong community and school system. In his spare time, he enjoys golf and fishing.
