Dr. Kristi Bradford serves as the Executive Director of Leadership Trussville, where she has been actively involved since the organization’s inception in January 2022.

A dedicated community leader, Dr. Bradford is a past president of the Trussville Daybreak Rotary Club and has served in several key roles, including Foundation Chair, Service Project Chair, and Rotary Youth Leadership Awards Chair. She is also an active volunteer with the media team at First Baptist Church Trussville. In 2024, she was honored with the Ned & Goldie Paine Memorial Gatekeeper Award for Outstanding Individual by the Trussville Area Chamber of Commerce and now serves as a Chamber Ambassador.

In addition to her leadership role, Dr. Bradford teaches part-time at Hewitt-Trussville High School. She brings more than 25 years of experience in Alabama’s public education system, including 18 years in Trussville City Schools, where she served as a gifted education teacher, technology teacher, and elementary assistant principal. Following her retirement from public education, she managed Better Basics, a literacy nonprofit that supports student achievement in reading and math across low-income schools in Central Alabama through the work of dedicated volunteers and retired educators.

Dr. Bradford and her husband, Chuck, are proud and engaged members of the Trussville community. Chuck and all five of their children are graduates of Hewitt-Trussville High School. In her free time, Kristi enjoys spending time with family, traveling—especially to London to visit her daughter—reading, and gardening.
