Jaime Melton Anderson is a 27-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force and currently serves part-time as a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Air Force Reserves. As a full-time remote government contractor, she also serves as the Chief of Staff for Operational Energy-Innovation (OE-I) in the Office of the Secretary of War, where she leads national efforts to accelerate operational energy technologies critical to defense readiness and sustainability.
Jaime was born and raised in Trussville, Alabama, and was re-elected in 2025 to the Trussville City Council for a second term. She is a 1994 graduate of Hewitt-Trussville High School, and a 1998 graduate of the United States Air Force Academy.
Jaime is also active in the Trussville Daybreak Rotary Club, serves on the board of Better Basics, serves as a Sustainer in the Junior League of Birmingham, and is a member of Christ Church, PCA. Jaime and her husband, Keith, have three grown children, and two pups, Buddy and Max.
