Dr. Kristi Bradford

Executive Director

Dr. Kristi Bradford is the Executive Director of Leadership Trussville. She has been involved in Leadership Trussville since its inception in January of 2022.

Kristi also serves as the past-president of the Trussville Daybreak Rotary Club and is a member of the production team at First Baptist Church Trussville. She was recognized by the Trussville Area Chamber of Commerce as the 2024 recipient of the Ned & Goldie Paine Memorial Gatekeeper Award for Outstanding Individual.

In addition to her position with Leadership Trussville, Kristi teaches parttime at Hewitt Trussville High School. Dr. Bradford had a successful twenty-five-year career in Alabama’s public education system, working 18 years in Trussville schools as a gifted teacher, technology teacher, and assistant principal at the elementary level. After her retirement from education, and before Leadership Trussville, Kristi managed a literacy nonprofit (Better Basics) in which retired teachers and volunteers worked in low-income schools in Central Alabama to increase the reading and math achievement of underperforming students.

Kristi and her husband, Lieutenant Chuck Bradford, are active and passionate Trussville residents. Chuck, and all five of their children, graduated from Hewitt Trussville High School. Dr. Bradford’s favorite pastimes are enjoying her family, traveling – especially traveling to London, England to visit her daughter – reading, and gardening.
